At Texas A&M, two freshmen embarked on their college journey, unaware that fate was about to intertwine their paths.

It all began on a chilly day on the quad when an unexpected snow storm swept through the campus. Classes were canceled, and everything was blanketed in a soft layer of white, turning the university into a winter wonderland. As Claudia and Davis both ventured outside to explore this rare sight, fate intervened.

That day, amidst the laughter, the snowball fights, and truck sledding; they discovered a connection that felt effortless. Together they found themselves gravitating toward each other more and more as the semester progressed; sharing study sessions, late-night snacks, and all the little moments that make college unforgettable.

After a couple months of fun, laughter, and friendship, Davis decided to take a leap and ask Claudia to be his girlfriend. The moon was illuminating upon the San Diego beach sands as the waves were gently lapping at the shore; the perfect backdrop for a special moment was created.

As Claudia and Davis navigated the challenges of academics and military training, they were each other’s biggest supporters. They celebrated milestones—like big exams, Aggie Rings and commissioning dreams (Marines & Submarines!) —and comforted each other through stress and setbacks.

Their exciting relationship was enhanced by their countless weekends spent cheering on their Aggies at football games, exploring local eateries, especially ice cream shops; while creating a network of friends who became their extended family. They created a chapter full of memories that strengthened their relationship.

As they began to close their chapter of college life and embark on their next journey, Claudia and Davis knew they wanted to explore that experience together.

On the white sands as the shimmering sun was rising in the distance of Charleston beach, Davis surprised Claudia with the question everyone has been waiting for! Will she marry him? Of course, she said YES!
